Joining FSWE | Flint Symphonic Wind Ensemble

Must be able to read music and handle the difficulty of music performed by the band (usually grades 2-4)
College students are also welcome; high school students may join with parent permission and a recommendation from their band director
Rehearsals are 7:30-9:30 p.m. every Tuesday, concerts are performed per our schedule.
Rehearsal location is Flushing Middle School, located 15 minutes from Downtown Flint
It is NOT required to play every concert season
Attendance should be maintained at as high a level as possible to satisfy the needs of the group for rehearsals and performances. Members who are unable to attend a rehearsal should notify the section representative or conductor(s) as soon as possible. If a member cannot make a performance, the conductor(s) MUST be notified as soon as possible.
